About the Position

A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is needed for a community-focused health center’s location in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans. This clinic, part of a long-standing nonprofit system serving underserved and vulnerable populations, offers comprehensive medical and behavioral services with a strong emphasis on integrated care and whole-person wellness.

New Orleans is a vibrant, historic city known for its rich culture, diverse communities, world-renowned cuisine, and lively arts and music scene. The Bywater area blends colorful architecture, a strong neighborhood feel, and easy access to the city’s downtown and riverfront. Position Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a PMHNP

  • Active Louisiana NP license (required)

  • Experience working in Integrated Behavioral Health settings

  • Experience with Adolescents would be great

  • Commitment to mission-driven, community-based healthcare

Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

  • Saturday–Sunday: Closed
