Associate Pediatric Dentist – Full-Time

A well-established, high-volume pediatric dental practice in Baton Rouge is actively seeking a Full-Time Pediatric Dentist to join its growing team.

Compensation & Schedule

• W-2 Employee

• 34% of Net Production

• $1,200/day guarantee for first 90 days

• Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM

• Strong preference for 4–5 days per week

• 3 days/week considered for the right candidate

Clinical Scope

• Comprehensive pediatric dentistry

• Oral conscious sedation (currently 1 day/week; opportunity to expand)

• 2–3 hospital days per month

• Full scope pediatric cases

This role offers a strong mix of in-office and hospital-based dentistry for providers who enjoy treating complex pediatric cases.

Facility Features:

• 8 operatories

• 8 open hygiene benches

• 2 x-ray rooms

• Fixed 2D panoramic unit

• Portable x-ray unit

• Digital sensors throughout

Strong Support Model

Daily staffing typically includes:

• 3 Doctors

• 7 Operatory Assistants

• 5 Hygiene Assistants

• 3 Front Desk Staff

• 1 Office Manager

Each provider is supported by:

• 2 dedicated restorative assistants

• 1 floating assistant

Scheduling Flexibility

• Standard: 2 restorative columns with 1-hour appointments

• Flexible, provider-driven scheduling

• One current provider runs 3 columns with 45-minute restorative appointments

• Volume adjusted based on provider comfort and efficiency

Requirements

• DDS or DMD

• Completion of Pediatric Dentistry residency (board eligible)

• Active Louisiana dental license

• Louisiana Personal Anesthesia Permit – Moderate Sedation

• Must reside in Baton Rouge
