About the POSITION:

A mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Auburn, NY is seeking a compassionate and skilled General Dentist to join its comprehensive care team. This opportunity is ideal for a provider passionate about serving diverse populations and improving access to high-quality dental care in both clinical and school-based settings.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: 4-day workweek (Monday – Thursday), 10-hour shifts

  • Clinic hours: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

• Opportunity to provide care at the main dental site and, if interested, rotate to School-Based Dental Health Centers

• Collaborative environment with an experienced dental and medical team

• Modern facilities equipped with up-to-date technology

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive dental exams, diagnosis, and treatment of oral health conditions

• Delivery of routine and preventive dental care:

  • Head and neck examinations, x-rays, periodontal therapy, maintenance visits

  • Restorative procedures, non-surgical extractions, dentures, pulpotomy, and incision and drainage

• Management of acute dental emergencies:

  • Hemorrhages, anaphylaxis, respiratory/cardiac arrest, and seizures

• Coordination of follow-up care and referrals as necessary
