About the Position:

Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a dynamic team in San Rafael, CA.

• Primary Responsibilities: Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical exams, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population.
• Collaborative Care: Consult with staff physicians as needed and coordinate patient care activities with nursing and support staff.
• Prescriptive Authority: Furnish medications and treatment regimens appropriate to assessed medical conditions within the scope of practice.
• Patient Referrals: Refer patients to specialists and relevant care components as necessary.
• Policy Compliance: Adhere to established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, ensuring continuous quality improvement, safety, and infection control standards.
• Health Promotion: Participate in health education, promotion, and prevention programs as appropriate.
• Performance Improvement: Support quality assurance, peer review, and staff development initiatives.
• Professionalism: Maintain positive relationships with staff and patients and assist in the integration of clinic outreach programs under the guidance of the Medical Director.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as needed to achieve clinic goals and objectives.
