Dentist needed in Albany, NY

About the Position:

A full-time General Dentist is needed at a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Albany, New York. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of clinical experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care to underserved populations.

This FQHC’s dental department offers a full range of preventative, restorative, and emergency dental services, including:

• Comprehensive exams and digital X-rays

• Routine cleanings

• Scaling and root planing for periodontal care

• Fillings and extractions

• Removable prosthodontics (partial and full dentures)

• Crowns and root canal therapy

• Night guards for bruxism

• Same-day emergency dental treatment

The dental clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable and predictable schedule with no evening or weekend hours.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual salary range: $110,000 – $160,000 (commensurate with experience)

• Full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement plan, and continuing education support

• Eligible for federal and state loan repayment programs through NHSC and similar initiatives
